We are very excited to have booked our first ever non-solo act. Mack and Rachel are a delightful husband & wife folk singing duo. We were not acquainted with them until recently, but they were recommended to us by someone whose judgment we trust very much, i.e., Pete Huttlinger. Mack sings not only with Rachel, but he is also one of the current members of the legendary folksinging trio, The Limeliters. Check them out at www.mackbailey.com.
Francesca Anderson, flute, will join classical guitarist Daniel Roest in a free one-hour concert at the Folsom Public Library, Saturday, July 25th 2009 at 1pm. Daniel has performed solo to capacity audiences at the Library in the past and will feature Francesca in some of their favorite duets. Both musicians have Masters Degrees in Music Performance on their respective instruments from San Jose State University. Their program will include the music of Bach, Faure, Gossec, Ibert, and Saint-Saens. Ms. Anderson has extensive orchestral experience in Monterey, San Jose and Palo Alto. Her teachers include Victor Morosco, Frances Blaisdell and Keith Underwood.

Enjoy an unforgettable evening with one of the world's foremost fingerstyle guitarist, the great Italian guitarist/composer Franco Morone, in the beautiful outdoor setting of Williams Pond. Hosted by Dimple Records owners John and Dilyn Radakovitz. One of the great names on the international guitar roster, Franco Morone is widely regarded as the "Italian Poet of the Acoustic Guitar".
His melodies exert a powerful charm which makes itself felt on the very first hearing and is enhanced by his thoughtful arrangements.
What is surprising in his work is the emotional impact of both his original and the traditional tunes the latter being completely refreshed and reborn under his fingers.
Through his teaching and musicological research, Franco has become a reference point for many guitarists, both amateur and professional. He has given workshops in Italy and abroad and regularly performs at prestigious festivals in Europe, the United States and Japan.
